Jahangiri Addresses Group Of Bolivians In Sports Stadium

Santa Cruz, June 15, IRNA – First vice President Es’haq Jahangiri who is here to attend G77+China Summit on Saturday evening, local time, attended a sports stadium where he addressed a group of Bolivians of various walks of life and social classes.
Jahangiri said that the developing countries have the right for advancement and progress, as well as the right for unity with one another, which are noble and legitimate rights.
The Iranian top political official initially appreciated the crowd on behalf of the Iranian nation and government for having invited him to their gathering.
“This ceremony is a sign of the deep friendship between our two countries, and the warm hospitality of the Bolivian nation,” he said, adding that the developing nations seek joint objectives, which bind them together in their pursuit,” he said.
The Iranian first vice president said that he felt at home thousands of kilometers away from home by the side of his dear friend and bother President Evo Morales, and the hospitable and revolutionary Bolivian nation.
“We are proud of the foundations of our civilizations, which are our wealth, and we are also proud that we, too, have a share in advancement of the global civilizations, which with their commonalties help us safeguard our shared interests with a united voice,” he said.
“O noble, revolutionary, and hardworking Bolivian people!” said Jahangiri, “Living in abundance, happiness, ensured future, and being assured of living happier lives for our children and yours is our both nations’ rights.”
Jahangir ended his address chanting the slogans: Viva Latin America! Viva Bolivia! Viva Iran!
The other dignitaries present in the event included the UN Sectary General Ban ki-Moon, the Bolivian president Evo Morales, the Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa, the Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro, and a number of other heads of states of the G77 Summit.
The G77+China Summit is scheduled to be held on Saturday and Sunday, local time, in Bolivia’s Santa Cruz City and the Iranian first vice president will be one of the lecturers in it.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is currently the rotating head of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and Bolivia is the present day head of the G77.
Bolivia this year took over the rotating presidency of the G77+China, a bloc of developing nations within the United Nations system that has grown to include 133 countries, which also marks its 50th anniversary in its eastern city of Santa Cruz on June 14-15./end
