Kyrgyz kickboxing team earns 3 medals at world championships

Bishkek, Oct. 26, 2021 . / Kabar / . Members of Kyrgyzstan’s kickboxing team won 3 medals: 1 silver and 2 bronze at the world championship, held on Oct. 15-24 in Jesolo Lido (Italy). The State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the republic reported that the championship was attended by athletes from more than 50 countries. Iqbol Foziljonov won a silver medal in the weight category up to 63.5 kg in the section K-1. He also entered the list of 8 best kickboxers of the world, thus won the license for the World Martial Arts Games, which will be held in Birmingham (USA). Another Kyrgyzstani Alexey Fedoseev won a bronze medal in low-kick. Chyngyz Begmatov (63 kg) became a bronze medalist in kick-light.
