Malaysia Lose 0-2 to India in Friendly Match

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian women's football team lose 0-2 to India in a class 'A' international friendly match at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium (MPS) Monday night. Substitute player Pyari Xava was the toast of India when she scored two goals in the second half to ensure a valuable win for the South Asian Confederation Cup champions. Malaysia will face Singapore on Aug 9 as final preparation before opening their Kuala Lumpur SEA Games 2017 (KL2017) campaign on Aug 15 against the Philippines.
