Mohammed Al Rumaihi Wins Gold Medal in Trap Competition of QSAA Cup

Doha, January 17 (QNA) - Shooter Mohammed Al Rumaihi, who qualified for the 2021 Olympic Games, achieved the gold medal in the trap competition of the Qatar Shooting & Archery Association (QSAA) Cup, which is currently being held at the Lusail Shooting Complex, with the participation of more than one hundred amle and female shooters. The championship will continue until January 30. Al Rumaihi won the gold medal after achieving first place in the men's category, and Nasser Al Hamidi won the silver after finishing second, while the bronze and third place went to Angelo Scalzone. In the youth category, Fahd Al Athba won first place with a gold medal, Ibrahim Al Tamimi finished second with the silver, while Ahmed Al Khulaifi came in third place and won the bronze. In the women's category, shooter Noura Al Ali won the gold medal with first place, and Kholoud Al Khalaf won the silver medal after coming in second place. In the young women's category, Rawda Mohammed won the first place and the gold medal, Asma Al Hor won the second place and the silver medal, and Dana Al Nuaimi won the third place and a bronze medal. The winners were crowned by Abdullah Ali Al Mutawa Al Hammadi, member of the board of directors of the QSAA and chairman of the QSAA's technical committee; and Al Anoud Matar Al Nuaimi, member of the national teams committee.
