Mongolian footballer to play at Thailand league
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A striker player of the national team, A.Moron has agreed to play for the Krabi FC in the first division league of Thailand.
Born in Ulaanbaatar, A.Moron (24) has played college soccer for Hannibal-LaGrande University and the Central Methodist Eagles, located in Fayette, Missouri. He made his international debut for Mognolia in 2007, and has appeared in FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
This year, Krabi Football Club based in Krabi Province has placed eighth among eighteen in the Thai Division League 1.
For the 2008 season, the Football Association Thailand reduced the number of teams in the league to 16 teams. Previously there had been two groups of 12 clubs. For the 2011 season the number of teams was increased to 18 teams, The Thai Division 1 League is a seasons run from March to October, with teams playing 34 games each totaling 306 games in the season. It is sponsored by Yamaha and therefore officially known as the "Yamaha League 1".
The top three teams will be promoted to the Thai Premier League, while the bottom four teams will be relegated to the Division 2.
