"Nakheel" Win "Al Beshairiya" Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses

Doha, November 04 (QNA) - The colt "Nakheel", owned by Al Hajjaj Stud, won the title of "Al Beshairiya" Cup after winning the eighth main round of the seventh horse race, which was organized by the Racing and Equestrian Club today on the sandy track at the club's headquarters in Al Rayyan.
The eighth main race of the Cup was dedicated to purebred Arabian maidens, starting from 4-6 years old, for a distance of 1900 meters.
The filly, "Brazen Bow", owned by Al Wasmiya farm, won the first race which was dedicated to purebred hybrid horses, "thoroughbred handicap" age of 3 years and above, at a distance of 1700 meters.
The horse "Elaaf", owned by Ali bin Saeed Al Juffali, won the second round of the race, which was dedicated to purebred hybrid horses of local production, novices aged 3-6 years, at a distance of 1700 meters.
The third race witnessed the superiority of the mare "Monati" owned by Jassim bin Hamad Al Attiyah, which was allocated to purebred Arabian horses of local production, equal to the age of 3 years and above, at a distance of 1700 meters.
The horse "Immoral", owned by "Azraq Stable", won first place in the fourth round, which was allocated to purebred horses, equal to the age of 3 years and above, and was also allocated to Qatari riders only at a distance of 1900 meters.
The horse "High Commander" owned by Mansour Ibrahim Al Mahmoud won the lead in the fifth round, The race was dedicated to purebred hybrid horses, equal to 3 years of age and above, and horses competed at a distance of 1900 meters.
The horse "Rammah", owned by Saeed bin Mubarak Al Juffali, won the sixth round, and the race was dedicated to purebred Arabian horses, equal to the age of 3 years and above, at a distance of 1200 meters.
The seventh race, dedicated to purebred Arabian horses aged 3 years, witnessed the victory of the horse "Tamih", owned by Ahmed Mubarak Ahmed Al Kuwari, and the conditional race was allocated to purebred Arabian horses aged 3 years and above at a distance of 1200 meters. (QNA)
