N.Bayarmaa won silver medal at East Asian Games

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Our weightlifter N.Bayarmaa grabbed a silver medal in women's 63 kg event at the 6th East Asian Games, in Chinese Tianjin, the first medal won by the Mongolian at such competitions. By the second day of the Games, our national team has been ranked 8th with two silver and five bronze medals. After Bayarmaa's "silver", B.Ser-Od took the second place at men's 5000m event. The bronze medals have been won by N.Monhbayar at men's 1500m, by U.Hand, M.Tumenbayar and P.Temuujin at taekwondo, and by 10m air-rifle shooting three-men team. Athletes from nine East Asian countries are competing in 17 sports at the Games until October 15.
