Olympic Council of Asia President Hails Distinguished Organization of Doha World Judo Masters 2021

Doha, January 14 (QNA) - HE the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) President Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah praised the distinguished organization of the Doha World Judo Masters 2021, which concluded Wednesday at the Lusail Hall, with the participation of 400 players, 215 male and 185 female players representing 70 countries.
In a press statement today, HE the OCA President said that Qatar organized in a short time more than one competition successfully and remarkably, and it received great praises, which is not strange for Qatar. He added, "The Doha World Judo Masters was added to the list of successful tournaments organized in Doha, especially in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) conditions, and we are happy to return once again to Doha, the sports capital of the Asian continent."
"During my meeting with the various judo sports leaders and those present in the championship, all of them praised the good and quality of the Qatari organization, and considered it one of the best Masters tournaments," he explained.
HE the OCA President congratulated HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Organizing Committee of the championship, International Judo Federation (IJF) President Marius Vizer, and President of the Judo Union of Asia (JUA) Obaid Al Enezi for the great success of the championship, wishing the State of Qatar success in hosting other tournaments.
