Pakistan Edge South Korea 1-0

KUANTAN (Pahang, Malaysia), Oct 22 (Bernama) -- Abdul Khan was the hero for Pakistan when his solitary goal was good enough to inflict a 1-0 defeat against South Korea in the 2016 Asian Champions Trophy tournament at the Kuantan Hockey Stadium here Friday. The South Koreans dominated play in the first half but despite five penalty corners had nothing to show for it. The Pakistanis after being much on the defensive in the first half took the fight to the oppponents in the second and had numerous scoring attempts. Finally they were rewarded in the 60th minute when Abdul Khan converted a penalty corner. -- BERNAMA
