Pejman Montazeri signs six-month deal with Esteghlal

TEHRAN,July 4(MNA)--Esteghlal defender Pejman Montazeri extended his contract by six months. The international defender was linked with a move to a Chinese football club. “I will likely stay with Esteghlal until the end of the season. I am going to accompany the team in Ukraine training camp,” Montazeri said on Wednesday. Montazeri’s contract expired at the end of the season. The 29-year-old joined Esteghlal in 2007 and has won two Iran league titles and two Hazfi Cups along with the Iranian giant.
