President of Qatar Swimming Association Participates in FINA Meeting

Doha, March 30 (QNA) - President of Qatar Swimming Association Khaleel Al Jaber took part in the second meeting of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), which was held virtually on Monday to discuss Doha's preparation to host FINA General Congress in June. The meeting followed a visit by a number of FINA members to Doha recently during the season-opening FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series 2021, when they were briefed on the preparation for the General Congress which will include the election of a new board of directors. FINA General Congress will be held at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel on June 5, in accordance with all COVID-19 precautionary measures set by the Ministry of Public Health. (QNA)
