The current Paris Saint-Germain and former Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, scored two of the three goals to lead his country to a morale-boosting victory during its preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. Lautaro Martinez scored the first goal for Argentina (16), then captain Messi added the second and third goals (45) from the penalty spot and (69). With this victory, the Argentine national team maintained its unbeaten record for 34 consecutive matches, and will play its next friendly against Jamaica Wednesday morning.
