Qatar Football Association's Elite Referees Training Course Begins Tomorrow

Doha, August 23 (QNA) - Tomorrow Tuesday, the activities of the elite referees refinement course begin in the Qatar Football Association (QFA), which is organized by the refereeing department of the federation, with the participation of (60) elite referees, as part of its efforts to prepare and refine these referees technically and physically before the start of the new sports season (2021 / 2022) and to ensure From their readiness to manage the matches.
A number of referees and referees from the Arab federations, namely the Syrian Football Association, the Palestinian Football Association, and the Djibouti Football Association, will participate in the course, which will continue until the seventh of next September. The course includes theoretical and analytical lectures, video tests and video technology training using the simulator, in addition to lectures on football law subjects in English during the morning period at the course residence at the Sheraton Hotel, and physical fitness training, practical applications and training on the application of video technology during the evening period at the training ground. .
Within the framework of the close cooperation between the Arbitration Department of the Qatar Federation and the International Football Association (FIFA), the Referee Department invited Director of the Referee Department at FIFA Massimo Busacca, , and Head of Video Technology in this Federation, Mike van der Rost, to lecture on the course, and the international lecturer in Fitness Madmba Mbaki, to supervise the physical aspect throughout the duration of this course.(QNA)
