Qatar National Team to Leave for Portugal

Doha, October 03 (QNA) - Members of the Qatari national football team will leave Sunday for Portugal, to play against Portugal and Ireland in preparation for the European qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The team's training will continue in Portugal until Oct. 7, and it will play its first match in this round against its Portuguese counterpart on Oct. 9 and meet the Irish team on Oct. 12. After the return of the team to Doha on Oct. 13, the players will join their clubs, with the exception of the Olympic Team players who will participate in the 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification.
