Qatar Olympic Committee Secretary-General Meets Vice-President of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee

Doha, March 31 (QNA) - HE Secretary-General of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain met with HH Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, who is currently visiting Doha to attend the Purebred Arabian Camel Festival for the Sword of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of Olympic cooperation and ways of enhancing and promoting it. HH Prince Fahd expressed thanks to the officials of the Olympic Movement in the State of Qatar, stressing the strength of the relationship between the Saudi and Qatari Olympic committees. On the other hand, HH the Vice-President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee visited today the headquarters of Qatar Olympic Academy in Al-Gharrafa where he was briefed about the programs, the activities and courses offered by the Academy, in addition to the means of training and the agenda of training courses it provides. HH Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz toured the Academy and viewed its specialized halls equipped with the latest educational tools that provide the ideal environment for learners to receive various sciences in the best educational atmosphere, in addition to the library of the Academy which contains more than 6500 books, references and sources. The visit also included a detailed explanation of the logo and identity of Qatar Olympic Academy and the vision it carries, in addition to an introductory presentation on its objectives, programs and courses that were held during the past period, and a review of its future programs and plans.
