Qatar Partakes in Meeting of Heads of Arab Sports Federations

Doha, November 03 (QNA) - The Qatar Boxing and Wrestling Federation and the Qatar Table Tennis Federation participated via videoconferencing in the meeting of the heads of Arab sports federations with the participation of about 50 presidents, vice-presidents, and secretary-general. President of the Qatar Boxing and Wrestling Federation (QBWF) Yousuf Ali Al Kazim and, President of the Qatari and Arab Table Tennis Federations Khalil Ahmed Al Mohannadi praised the meeting and presented the activities of the Arab boxing and table tennis federations, and the coronavirus (COVID-19) impact on the programs and competitions of the two federations, in addition to plans and tournaments to be organized according to the planned agenda. The conference agenda included speeches and interventions by heads of Arab sports federations, in addition to discussing efforts made by the General Secretariat during the previous period. During the meeting, they approved the recommendations of the conference of secretaries-general of Arab sports federations, which was held on July 16, 2020, as well as the unified statute of the games of Arab sports federations.
