Qatar Participates in 6th Meeting of Joint Working Group between GCC and Morocco in the Youth Field

Rabat, March 09 (QNA) - The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, took part in the 6th meeting of the joint working group between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Kingdom of Morocco in the youth field, which is hosted by the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication in the capital Rabat for two days, within the framework of dialogue and strategic partnership between the GCC and the Kingdom of Morocco. The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by Director of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth Fawaz Al Mesaifri. The meeting discussed a number of important topics, including the final communique issued by the Supreme Council at its 42nd session (Riyadh, December 2022), which emphasized accelerating and activating joint work between the two sides, and working to develop appropriate mechanisms to implement clear practical programs in this field. The meeting also discussed issues of common interest between the two sides in the youth field. The meeting came out with a number of joint programs and activities that will be organized by both sides for the year 2022. A field visit to Royal Institute for Managerial Training in Youth and Sport was organized on the sidelines of the meeting to learn about the capabilities available at the Institute and to benefit from them by activating the Youth Activation Diploma. The recommendations of the meeting will be presented at the 35th meeting of the Committee of Their Highnesses and Excellencies Ministers of Youth and Sports in the Gulf Cooperation Council, which is scheduled to be held in March.
