Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club Prepares for HH the Amir Sword Equestrian Festival

Doha, February 14 (QNA) - Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) is preparing today to organize the HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Sword Equestrian Festival, which will be held over three consecutive days in Al Rayyan racetrack, starting Thursday. As part of its preparations for this festival, QREC announced in a press conference today that QNB Group is the official sponsor of the festival, in addition to sponsoring HH the Amir silver sword race dedicated to purebred Arabian horses, which witnesses the participation of the strongest horses of this breed. The existing cooperation between QREC and QNB Group is a true embodiment of a partnership that spanned for three consecutive years, during which the bank contributed to the success of the festival, the QREC Chairman Issa bin Mohammed Al Mohannadi stressed. He pointed out that this year's edition is completely different from last year's edition in terms of the atmosphere and conditions accompanying due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as several events will witness fans' attendance. Al Mohannadi thanked the QNB Group for its continued support for the club and the festival, and for its keenness to play the role of the official sponsor of the festival for the third year in a row. For his part, QNB Group Assistant General Manager of Public Relations Salem Anzan Al Nuaimi confirmed that the partnership that bound QNB Group with QREC is a distinguished one that spanned many years, during which the group provided support for the clubs activities over the years, the most prominent of which was the HH the Amir Sword Festival.
