Qatar SC Contracts with the Moroccan International Badr Banoun for 3 Seasons

Doha, July 31 (QNA) - Qatar sport club announced Sunday that it has signed Moroccan international Badr Banoun from the Egyptian national club, in order to join the first football team for the new football season 2022-2023. The Qatari club explained via its official Twitter account that the contract with the Moroccan defender will be for three seasons. Banoun had moved to the Egyptian national team in November 2020, coming from the Moroccan Raja SC, and with him it was crowned with the African Champions League and the African Super League twice, the bronze of the Club World Cup twice and the Egyptian Cup once. The Moroccan footballer has been absent from the stadiums this season for almost 6 months due to complications from his infection with the corona virus, and participated in only 12 matches with Al-Ahli in various tournaments. The Qatar club team finished the Qatari league competitions QNB Stars League last season in ninth place with 23 points from 22 confrontations, and the new season league is scheduled to start Tuesday with a confrontation against the Al Arabi team at the Education City Stadium.
