Qatar Secures Second Victory in International Handball Tournament

Doha, December 27 (QNA) - The Qatari handball national team defeated Argentina 24/22 on Sunday in its second match in Qatar International Handball Tournament currently being held in Doha. Four teams: Asian champions Qatar, European champions Spain, South American champions Argentina and African runners-up Tunisia are participating in the international tournament. The Qatari team ended the first half of the match with a six-goal difference, 14/8. The Qatari team also won its first match at the expense of its Tunisian counterpart 33/30. In another match, which was held today, the Tunisian and Spanish national teams drew 30-30. On Monday, one match will be held between Argentina and Spain, and the tournament will be concluded Tuesday, with two matches, where in the first Tunisia will face Argentina, and in the second Qatar will play against Spain.
