Qatar Squash Team Win 9 Medals at Gulf Championship in Kuwait

Doha, November 01 (QNA) - Qatar squash team's delegation returned to Doha after its successful participation in the Gulf Squash Championship in Kuwait, crowned by nine medals (one gold, three silvers and five bronzes). The Qatar U-17 team succeeded in winning the first place and getting the gold medal, while U-19 years and men team won the second place and two silver medals, and the U-15 team won the third place. In the individual competitions, Salem Al Maliki achieved the second place and the silver medal for the youth category U-19 years, he added a bronze medal when he came in third place in the junior category U-17 years, in turn, Abdullah Khalifa, won the third place and the bronze medal in the junior individual category U-17 years. As for the boys' individual category U-15 years, Khaled Al Hammadi won the third place and the bronze medal, while Sayed Azlan won the bronze medal and the third place in the men's category. The team's delegation included Abd al Rahman al Maliki, Sayed Azlan, Ahmed al Tamimi and Hamad al Amri, Salem al Maliki, Youssef al Maliki, Muhammad al Amiri, Khaled al Hammadi, Abdullah Khalifa, Ali al Darwish and Nasser al Sharshani.
