Qatar Stars League Holds Seminar on Club Participation Agreement

Doha, July 26 (QNA) - The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a seminar for First Division clubs on the new Club Participation Agreement (CPA), via video call conference, in the presence of representatives of QSL and FIFA and CEOs of Club Companies. During the seminar, a presentation was given about the details of CPA, which aims to; support and improve the level of professional work for clubs by applying high standards in the areas of club governance and management, football strategy, match day operations, marketing and communication, sales and business development & community engagement. Representative of FIFA Alvaro Ruiz-Ocana, participated in the presentation explaining the Memorandum of Understanding signed recently with QSL and the support that will be provided to clubs through the CPA, as well as giving the opportunity to participate in accredited programs by FIFA, which is specialized in clubs management and professionalism. The strategic partnership agreement signed between Qatar 2022 World Cup, FIFA and the Qatar Stars League (QSL) in June, 2022 aims to raise club management and administration standards in first and second division clubs in Qatar and to set new standards. These standards will be specified in the club participation agreement (CPA) that the (QSL) will sign before the 2022-2023 season. (QNA)
