Qatar Stars League Signs New Partnership Deals
Doha, September 05 (QNA) - The Qatar Stars League and Ooredoo group announced the renewal of their partnership agreement, in order to sponsor the 2021-2022 Ooredoo Cup, for the third season in a row.
Commenting on the renewal of the partnership contract, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at the QSL Hassan Rabia Al Kuwari said, "First of all, I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Ooredoo Board of Directors for the continued support to football and the QSL in particular. I also commend Ooredoo for sponsoring the tournament, which gave it an additional distinction, and that was clearly evident during the previous seasons."
In the same context, Executive Director Business at Ooredoo Thani Al Malki said, "Were delighted to have renewed our support for the hugely-popular Ooredoo Cup and are proud to be supporting Qatars talented players as they compete in such an exciting tournament. Supporting events that promote a healthy, active lifestyle is a key priority for us at Ooredoo and we look forward to seeing some inspiring games over the coming season."
The Qatar Stars League also signed a cooperation agreement with the "You Are Important" initiative, implemented by the Ministry of Interior (Stadium Security department under Establishments and Authorities Department), aimed at enhancing community awareness of stadium security and strengthening the security partnership between society and security services in order to provide a role model in organizing major sports events leading up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Commenting on the partnership, Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at the QSL, said, "Weve a distinguished and close partnership with all sectors and departments of the Ministry of Interior in general and Stadium Security department under Establishments and Authorities Department in particular, as the relationships and coordination are mutual and continuous between us throughout the season. On my part, I take this opportunity to extend my thanks and appreciation to them for all their efforts and permanent contributions to us."
On his part, Brigadier General Dr. Ali Khajim Al Athbi, Director of the Establishments and Authorities Department at the Ministry of Interior, said, "This initiative targets an important segment of the public and we thank all people for their support. We hope that this cooperation will serve the purpose of this initiatives vision and message."
The Qatar Stars League also signed a new sponsorship agreement with Snoonu, which specializes in the field of e-commerce and is the fastest-growing delivery service in Qatar through mobile application, one of the first applications in Qatar that provides comprehensive solutions to the daily needs, allowing purchase or delivery of any product anywhere you wish within Qatar.
This agreement aims to achieve common goals and provide the required support to meet the aspirations and ambitions of both parties.
Commenting on the agreement, Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of QSL, said, "Were pleased to have Snoonu in the list of sponsors of QSL. Were also proud of this new partnership and we wish them continued success."
Hamad Mubarak Al Hajri, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Snoonu, said, "Were happy to be the official delivery partner for QSL. Being attached to a sports league like QSL is an excellent move for Snoonu as Doha now is considered a sports city with all the sports events that the country hosted and will be hosting in the near future. Its a very big event and itll surely give us good exposure in the market." (QNA)
