Qatar Taekwondo Team Competes in Asian Junior and Cadet Championships in Vietnam

Doha, August 21 (QNA) - Qatar's taekwondo team will participate in the Asian Junior and Cadet Taekwondo Championships, which will kick off in Vietnam Monday, and will continue until Aug. 29. The Qatari national team is represented in the tournament by the player Noor Nizar Abdul-Kader at a weight of under 68 kg. The player was prepared to participate in this tournament through an indoor camp during the last period. The tournament is one of the strongest tournaments at the international level, bringing together more than 350 players representing 35 countries. Players earn through these championships a number of points to qualify for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG). (QNA)
