Qatar's Al Gharafa Basketball Club Signs American Player Michael Dixon

Doha, October 11 (QNA) - Al Gharafa basketball club contracted with American player Michael Dixon to support the team in the continental championships. The 31 years old player played in major international leagues and began his professional career in 2014 when he played with Nymbork basketball club in the Czech basketball league and AEK basketball club in the Greek league. Dixon played with the Al Ittihad of Alexandria and before that with the Italian team Emilia Riggetto, he also played in several European clubs in different countries, including Greece, Lithuania and Turkey, he also participated in the World Cup qualifiers with the Georgia national team. The player is considered a great addition to the Al Gharafa club basketball team which won the three championships last season and seeks to continue excellence during the current season. (QNA)
