Qatar's Al Wakrah and Al Gharafa Participate at Arab Club Handball Championship

Doha, October 14 (QNA) - Al Wakrah and Al Gharafa will participate in the 36th edition of the Arab Club Handball Championship, for men's league champions, which will be held from October 23 to November 2, in Hammamet, Tunisia. Al Gharafa holds the championship title, after winning it for the first time in the last edition that was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman in 2019, by defeating the Algerian GS Petroliers in the final 36/32. Al Gharafa is the second Qatari club to win the championship, after Al Rayyan, who won the title of the 21st edition, which was held in Sharjah in 2000. The list of teams that have announced their participation also so far includes: Raja Agadir of Morocco, Amal Skikda of Algeria, Esperance of Tunisia, and Al Ain and Al Jazira of the United Arab Emirates.
