Qatar's Students Win 7 Medals in Gulf Physics Olympiad and Arabic Language Debates in Muscat

Doha, October 11 (QNA) - Qatar's students won seven medals, including three silver and one bronze medals at the third Gulf Physics Olympiad, and two gold and one silver in the Arabic language debates at the Olympics, as part of the Olympiad hosted by the Omani capital, Muscat, from 6-10 October. Moza Al-Madhaka, Director of the Educational Guidance Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education praised the outstanding results of the students of the State of Qatar, which reflects the efforts exerted by the Ministry in preparing students and qualifying them to win and achieve honorable results in prestigious competitions, as well as the quality of learning outcomes in the country. She congratulated the students on their honorable scientific achievement which demonstrates the interest of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in enabling students to learn Arabic skills, physics, mathematics and all activities that reveal students' literary talents and abilities and contribute to their development and investment as well as its keenness on discovering talented students in all subjects, enhancing their self-confidence and their abilities, talents and creativity, and directing them to invest and develop their abilities, besides enhancing areas of communication between them, which develops their abilities, and makes them able to contribute to global achievements. She said that this Olympiad came within the framework of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States to raise the level of scientific competition among the students of the member States to create a catalytic environment for this, and to implement its multiple programs in this area.(QNA)
