QFA Issues Procedures for Postponement of Matches

Doha, December 30 (QNA) - Qatar Football Association (QFA) issued a set of procedures for requesting the postponement of first team matches for first and second-tier clubs, in case that several players are infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19). These measures stem from the responsibility of the QFA and the Qatar Stars League (QSL) towards sports clubs and their affiliates and in order to preserve the safety of everyone. QFA stressed the importance of submitting a written request sufficiently before the date of the match, so that the competitions committee can decide on the request to postpone the match. (QNA)
