QNB Stars League: Al Arabi, Al Ahli Coaches Seek Victory Thursday

Doha, February 09 (QNA) - Al Arabi will play with Al Ahli on Thursday in Week 18 of 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League.
Speaking to the media ahead of the match, Al Arabi coach Younes Ali said, "We are preparing well for the Al Ahli match, which I consider to be strong.
"Our morale is high after our victory over Al Shamal, which will be a strong motivation for us in the next round. We will do our best to prepare for the match and our goal is the three points.
"The team performed well against Al Shamal in the last round. We respect Al Ahli a lot, as they are a strong team, especially after their latest recruitments which were strong additions to the team and presented good levels.
"The players realize the importance of the match and the three points. On the other hand, the match is of great importance to Al Ahli as well. God-willing, the desire and spirit will continue in the next round and all players are ready for the match and to appear well.
"I am completely satisfied with what the team is offering this season. We were affected at times by absences and injuries, but the team showed great spirit and desire to bounce back and is serious about winning and achieving the three points," said Younes.
In the pre-match press conference, Al Ahli coach Nebojsa Jovovic said, "The match is of great importance, and the good level and victory achieved by the team in the last round against Al Khor will be a great motivation for the players in the Al Arabi match.
"Al Arabi are a great team having outstanding players. Yousef Msakni is considered as one of the best players in the QNB Stars League and has great capabilities in influencing the result of any team. But Al Ahli have a strong group and capable players, and we are looking forward to collecting full points.
"I am happy with our improvement in scoring goals. Our team has changed a lot, thanks to the great work done by everyone in the club management, technical staff and players. We must continue the good work. We scored six goals in the last match and that was a great thing," said Nebojsa. (QNA)
