QNB Stars League: Al Sadd, Al Rayyan Coaches Admit Significance of Tomorrow's Match

Doha, March 07 (QNA) - The coaches of Al Sadd and Al Rayyan haven't played down the match of their teams, ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 14's rescheduled match. It will kick-off at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club at 18:15 on Tuesday. Al Sadd coach Javi Gracia expressed his hope that his team would continue their strong performances and achieve its 19th victory this season, stressing that the team was crazy about setting a record this season. He added that they were pushing for keeping on providing distinguished levels in the league championship, and after they won the title, they strive to win all the matches. He stressed that facing Al Rayyan would be difficult, describing it as a match of a special nature and had huge fans on terraces. For his part, Al Rayyan coach Nicolas Cordova said that over three weeks they played five matches, affecting the players negatively and that had its obvious reflection on the performance in the last matches. He said, "The match is very important especially since it is against this season's league champions, who are going through a long period without losing. Our team will try to do our best in the game." Cordova added that after the early exit from HH the Amir Cup, the team would like to show the true face of Al Rayyan. He said they succeeded in bringing the team back to compete with the big teams and give off their best after a series of negative results, expressing hope to provide a performance that meets the aspirations of everyone in Al Rayyan and satisfy Al Rayyan's fans.
