QNB Stars League: Al Sadd Continue to Lead League Table

Doha, January 10 (QNA) - Al Sadd remained at the top with 31 points after the conclusion of the thirteenth round of the Qatar Football League (QNB Stars League) 2021-2022 season. Al Duhail came in second place after managed to reduce the difference by two points to raise its score to 29 points, while Al Arabi remained at 20 points in fourth place. This round witnessed a noticeable decline in the level of scoring, as the outcome reached nine goals, compared to 18 goals in the previous round, three matches ended in victory, and a draw on two occasions bringing the overall score of goals to 217 goals, at a rate of 2.9 goals per match, 18 goals were scored in the thirteen rounds through penalty kicks, eight of which were missed. 76 matches have been held so far with a match postponed from the eleventh week between Al Sadd and Al Wakrah, and a match between Al Sadd and Qatar SC from the 13th round. The highest score this season is still registered in favor of Al Duhail, who beat Al Ahli in the 11th round 6-0. (QNA)
