QNB Stars League: Qatar SC Coach Affirms Readiness to Face Al Shamal

Doha, January 11 (QNA) - Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri stressed his team's readiness to face Al Shamal in Week 14 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League on Wednesday. Speaking to the media ahead of the match, Safri said, "Everyone knows the reasons for postponing our match against Al Sadd and we were very prepared to play that important game in order to achieve a positive result. Of course, the league matches need great efforts to win the largest possible number of points. We in the club system work with high concentration to strengthen our ranks and make positive results. Our work is always based on a balance between the individual and collective levels, especially as the players know the level of the responsibility placed upon them. "Regarding the upcoming match against Al Shamal, "I can say that everyone is ready for the match and the injured players have regained their health. They will be an important addition to the team. "We need a positive result that will bring us back to the path of victories. The difference in points between a number of teams is very close, so positive results make the difference. In general, our task is neither easy nor impossible either, and we have to deal with each match separately in order to improve our situation," said Safri. Meanwhile, Al Shamal assistant coach Hisham Zahid said, "The Qatar SC match is very important, like the last match against Al Sailiya, and of course we seek to achieve a positive result and take advantage of the morale-boosting victory we achieved in the last round. "Our players are ready at all levels, be it psychological, technical or physical. The match will not be easy in view of the strength of the opponents and their eagerness to win. "I have great confidence in our players and their ability to achieve more positive results." (QNA)
