QOC Participates in Executive Board Meeting of GCC Olympic Committees

Kuwait, May 23 (QNA) - The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) participated in the 95th meeting of the executive Office of the Council of Their Highnesses and Excellencies Heads of the Olympic Committees in the Gulf Cooperation Council, in Kuwait on the sidelines of the third GCC Games. The QOC delegation was chaired by HE QOC Secretary General Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain. During the meeting, the executive board member and director of the third GCC Games Husain Al Musallam briefed the board members about the progress of the games. The meeting also selected the United Arab Emirates to host the first edition of GCC Youth Games in 2023. It also reviewed the GCC sports cooperation and came out with some important recommendations to enhance the GCC joint action in the sports and Olympic fields. (QNA)
