Queiroz names Iran squad for UAE friendly

TEHRAN, April 8(MNA) - Iran football coach Carlos Queiroz named his 18 players for the friendly match against the UAE. The Persians are scheduled to play the UAE in Dubai on April 17. Iran is optimistic about playing a warm-up match against Japan as well. Carlos Queiroz’s team is gearing up for the final stage of Asian qualifying for the 2014 World Cup. Iran has been grouped with South Korea, Uzbekistan, Lebanon and Qatar in the competition.
