Sambo wrestling national championship to run

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The national championship for sambo wrestling will start Thursday in the “Buyant Ukhaa” sports complex, Ulaanbaatar. This year’s championship will run in two types--sport and military. The sport sambo type will take place at the weight categories of men’s 52, 57, 62, 68, 74, 82, 90, -100 and +100 kg, women’s 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, -80 and +80 kg, whereas the military sambo contest--only men’s 52, 57, 62, 68, 74, 82, 90, -100 and +100 kg categories. Winners of the championship will be qualified to compete in the Sambo Asian Championship to be held in May.
