SCYS Secretary General receives ISF President

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Ayman bin Tawfeeq Al Moayed received in his office President of the International School Sport Federation (ISF), Laurent Petrynka, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Executive Committee for the preparation and organization of the World School Games tournament, Ishaq Abdullah Ishaq. The championship is set to be held in 2024 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The SCYS Secretary General welcomed the ISF President and conveyed to him the greetings of Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, SCYS Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He underlined the SCYS’ support to ISF and the Executive Committee, stressing that the international event will further consolidate Bahrain’s standing on the international school sport map. Al Moayed asserted that the sport leadership in the kingdom is keen to take advantage of the championship, which bears the name of HM the King, to discover talents in various games for national clubs and teams.
