Stage Set for Qatar Fencing Grand Prix

Doha, February 10 (QNA) - The official competitions of the eight edition of Qatar Fencing Grand Prix and third World Cup for senior Men Individual and Women individual and team in Epee will kick off at the indoor arena of Aspire Academy of Sports Excellence in Doha, Qatar on Friday. The QFF Chief and Championship Director, Mr. Saleh Amer Al-Hamidi confirmed that the federation made all technical and managerial arrangements to host an exceptional fencing event here in Doha, Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) reported today. The prestigious event is organised by Qatar Fencing Federation (QFF) from February 10-13, 2012. The 4- day tournament is open for all fencers holding a FIE license for the 2012 season and/or those subject to a request of license made by their federation. Number of fencers per country authorized to participate in this event will be in accordance with FIE regulations. Formula of the FIE Grand Prix Events is applicable (Individual and Teams). (QNA)
