Strong Competitions in 2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament

Doha, April 13 (QNA) - The competitions of the fourth edition of the 2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament continued for the second day at the Lusail Shooting Range with the participation of more than 500 competitors in both the amateur and professional events. This community tournament is organized under the patronage of HE Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, where competitors are fighting hard for top places in four classes, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Archery. The second day's competitions were strong and exciting, and witnessed the holding of air rifle competitions for 10 meters for the professional and amateur categories. In the professional category, Osama Abdel Nasser Al Shaiba won first place in the general standings after scoring the highest number of points with 344 points, Mohammed Ahmed Al Rumaihi came in second place in the general standings, scoring 336 points, and Mohammed Abdel Mohsen Abu Taima came in third place with 334 points. In in the womens professional category, Shahd Al Darwish ranked first with 329 points, followed by Reem Al Sharshani, 320 points, then Ghalia Ali Al Malki in third place, 311 points, followed by Aisha Al Suwaidi with 307 points. In the mens amateur category, Mohammad Khaled Al Siddiqi won first place with 329 points, followed by Abdul Rahman Mohsen Al Athba in second place with 317 points, and Badr Al Youssef came in the third place with 309 points. In the womens amateur category, Aisha Ali Al Sada scored 288 points, followed by Ghada Ali Al Ghamdi with 280 points, and then Ahlam Mazen Abdullatif with 273 points. This tournament aims to discover the most talented elements in the game, develop their skills and helping clubs and national teams to achieve quantum leap in the game and promoting this sport among citizens and residents whose rate of participation in the game rises sharply year by year.
