Strongest Bahraini Man contest list approved

Manama, (BNA): The High Organising Committee of the Strongest Bahraini Man Championship has approved the contest list of the event which will take place under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Honourary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities. The event will be held from February 21 to 23, 2019, at Bahrain International Circuit under the slogan #Be_a_Beast. It's part of HH Shaikh Khalid's human and sports initiatives. Main Competitions: The High Organising Committee approved Al Saqay Walk which is a time trial race over 25 meters. Other events include pulling Al Karkour over 20 meters in the least time or for the longest distance in one minute as well as car pull for one minute and over a distance of 25 meters. Meanwhile, competitors will also contest it out in lifting a tyer over 25 meters and lifting a vehicle for the most number of times in one minute. Supporting Events: Moreover, the main event will feature supporting competitions such as tug-of-war, arm wrestling, lifting a 150kg tyre. Furthermore, kid competitions will be for three-group categories, including 6-8 years, 9-11 years and 12-14 years. The contests will include a tug-of-war, arm wrestling, tyre-lifting.
