Successful equestrian, endurance season planned

Manama, Oct. 24 (BNA): HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa Chairman of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) said the Kingdom of Bahrain is now teeming with equestrian and endurance activities thanks to the leadership's huge support and diligence of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee also Honorary President of BREEF. HH Shaikh Faisal cited the efforts being exerted by the Federation and the Endurance and Showjumping committees aimed to boost the level of riders and stables. His Highness stressed the importance of shaping the profiles of the upcoming season by boosting the gains achieved so far and preventing any negativities in order to organize the best season both technically and administratively. The equestrians and endurance season will kick-start with the Endurance Season Championship on November 26, the National Day Championship on December 17, the HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Championship on January 14, the HM King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa All Riders and Juniors Championship on February 18, the HH Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Endurance Championship on March 11, the HRH Crown Prince's Championship on April 1 and the season will conclude with the HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Championship on April 28. The Showjumping season will kick-start with the Royal Federation's first championship on November 4, the Royal Federation's second championship on December 2, the Royal Federation's third championship on December 23, the Royal Federation's fourth championship on January 6, the HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Championship on January 27, the HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Championship on February 10, the HH President of BREEF Championship and Endurance Racing on March 3, the Royal Federation's fifth championship on March 24 and the Royal Federation's sixth championship on April 4. The season will conclude with the championship finale on April 21.
