Team Victorious triumph in 100-km endurance race

Manama, Oct. 15 (BNA): Team Victorious jockeys made a strong debut in the 2022-2023 endurance season, dominating the 100-kilometre international qualifying race. Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) organized the contest at the Bahrain International Endurance Village. Salman Isa won the race covering the distance in (5 hours, 53 minutes, 15 seconds, followed by teammates Manal Fakhrawi and Othman Al Awadhi, who clocked respectively (5 hours, 53 minutes, 20 seconds) and (5 hours, 53 minutes( 41 seconds). Mohammed Wael, also Team Victorious rider, finished fourth with 5 hours, 55 minutes and 35 seconds, followed from Al Zaim jockey Jabeur Bader who clocked 6 hours. In the 80-km local qualifying race, A1 stable rider Faisal Sultan Moussa outclassed other jockeys, clocking (6 hours, 22 minutes, 9 seconds). Fifty-nine jockeys representing different stables competed in both qualifying races. Breef will organise two international races covering respectively 100 km and 120 km on November 4 and 5, in addition to local qualifying races ( 40 and 80 km).
