Thailand's Siripaporn Wins Asian Women's Snooker Championship

Doha, March 07 (QNA) - Thai cueist Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan won the Asian Women's Snooker Championship title organized by the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF) over three days, with the participation of 19 players representing six countries.
Siripaporn won the title after defeating her compatriot Nutcharat Wongharuthai 3-2 in the final match that was held today at the Federation Hall in Al Muntazah.
The final match was strong between the two Thai players, as they exchanged wins one by one, and then the decisive half witnessed a strong performance by the two players before Siribaporn settled in her favor, taking advantage of the mistakes of Nutcharat, and winning the match and the title.
QBSF President, Mohammed Al Ramzani, and Secretary General of the Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports (ACBS), Michael Al Khoury, crowned the two Thai champions, along with the Indian Amee Kamani and the Mongolian Narantoya Bayarsaikhan, who ranked third repeatedly.
The title is the second that Thai cueist Nutcharat Wongharuthai lost in a few days in Doha, after she lost the World Women's Snooker Championship final to Belgian Wendy Jans (1-4) on Saturday. (QNA)
