Turkey wins gold medal in World Underwater Photo World Championship
BODRUM (A.A) - 31.05.2011 - Turkey won on Monday one gold medal, one silver and two bronze medals at the 13th World Underwater Photo World Championship, organized by World Underwater Federation (CMAS) in the Aegean resort town of Bodrum.
Turkey's Orhan Aytur won one gold and two bronze medals and was chosen as the best underwater photographer in the world.
The competition was hosted by Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF).
Participants of the competition were teams from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Iran, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, South Korea, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
