Two Malaysian Reps Enter Main Draw Of Indonesia International Challenge

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 (Bernama) -- Two Malaysian representatives, including0 the doubles, have advanced into the main draw of the Indonesian International Challenge Badminton tournament held at Gelora Universitas, Semarang, Indonesia. Lee Jun Hong beat Indonesia's Agassi Bagus Yudistira Kitono, 21-11 and 21-6 in the men's singles qualifying round, said the Badminton World Federation (BWF) website; www.bwfbadminton.org. He will face an uphill task in the first round, Wednesday against the top seed player, Nguyen Tien Minh of Vietnam. Aaron Chia/Wai Jun Wong also made it into the main draw of the men's doubles by beating Indonesian pair, Davin Faturahman/Yoga Sidik; 21-10 and 21-15, to setup a first round match against their compatriot, Jian Yi Lee/Zhen Ting Lim. Several other Malaysians will kick off their campaign in three other events, the women's singles and doubles and also mixed doubles of the US$20,000 (RM83,565) tournament. -- BERNAMA
