Umm Salal Beats Al Ahli in Qatar Stars League

Doha, February 18 (QNA) -- Umm Salal added to Al Ahli's woes Saturday by beating them (3-0) in round 17 of the Qatar Stars League (QSL). After a goalless first half, strikers Magno Alves (68 and 80) and Cabore (77) found the net for the winners at the Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium. Al Ahli, who are struggling to stay afloat in QSL, now have lost seven consecutive matches this season. The men in green are at the bottom of the 12-team QSL standings and look certain to be relegated at the end of the season. For Umm Salal, this was their second successive win following last week's shock win against Al Jaish. (QNA)
