WAFF Executive Committee Holds 25th Meeting

Doha, April 05 (QNA) - Member of the Executive Committee of Qatar Football Association Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Buainain was elected to head the Development Committee of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) during the 25th meeting of the Federation's Executive Committee held through the visual communication to reconstituted the confederations committees. The formation of the committees also resulted in Mansour Al Ansari as a member of the Committee of Finance, Khaled Mubarak Al Kuwari as member of the Media and Marketing Committee, and Hamad Al Mannai as member of the Competitions Committee. The formation of the development committee was as follows: Ahmad Al Buainain (Qatar) as Chairman, Khaled Al Shammari (Kuwait) as Vice-Chairman, and the members: Haroun Al Bartmani (Oman), Khalfan Belhoul (the United Arab Emirates), Aslan Kanjo (Syria), and Wissam Asliouh (Iraq). The Finance Committee consisted of: Ali Al Mutairi (Kuwait) as Chairman, Ali Al Buainain (Bahrain) as Vice-Chairman, and the members: Abdullah Kabuha (Saudi Arabia), Mansour Al Ansari (Qatar), Hassan Bashnfer (Yemen), Ahmed Qamar Al-Din (Lebanon), Colonel Zakaria Channel (Syria), and Luay Amish (Jordan). With regard to the Media and Marketing Committee, it included: Humaid Al Tayer (the United Arab Emirates) as Chairman, Eng. Abdulaziz Al Afaliq (Saudi Arabia) as Vice-Chairman, and the members: Mohsen Al Habsi (Oman), Bassam Walweel (Palestine), Muhammad Al Hammadi (Bahrain), Khaled Al Kuwari (Qatar), Moaz Al Khamisi (Yemen), and Dr. Ahmed Kamel (Iraq). The Competitions Committee was made up of Hussein Saeed (Iraq) as Chairman, Jihad Al Shahef (Lebanon) as Vice-Chairman, and the members: Dr. Khalid bin Muqrin (Saudi Arabia), Salah Al Qanaei (Kuwait), Saif Al Mansouri (the United Arab Emirates), Hamad Al Mannai (Qatar), Ibrahim Al Buainain (Bahrain), and Dr. Ibrahim Abazid (Syria).
