World Athletics Championships: Sidorova Wins Women's Pole Vault

Doha, September 30 (QNA) - Russia's Anzhelika Sidorova (who is participating as an authorized neutral athlete due to the suspension of her country's association) won Sunday in the women's pole vault as part of the World Athletics Championships that are currently taking place in Doha. She won after jumping a high of 4.95 meters, edging out America's Sandi Morris who jumped a high of 4.9 meters. Morris was leading all the way until the last try, but that is when Sidorova managed to make her best jump. Third place went to Greece's Katerina Stefanidi, who is the title holder. She jumped a high of 4.85 meters. (QNA)
