Youth and Sports Minister receives BCA board

Manama, (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Aymen Tawfiq Almoayyed has received the board members of Bahrain Cricket Association (BCA), led by Chairman Saleem Elias. The BCA chairman briefed the minister about plans and programmes to promote the sport of cricket in the Kingdom of Bahrain among youngsters. The two sides discussed prospects of joint cooperation between the Youth and Sports Affairs Ministry and Bahrain Cricket Association (BCA) to promote the game. He stressed the ministry’s drive to cooperate with all sports entities, including the Bahrain Cricket Association (BCA), towards achieving the vision of His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. He underlined the initiatives under the National Youth and Sports Development Programme to turn Bahrain into the Capital of Youth and Sports, hailing the efforts being exerted by BCA chairman and board members.
