Zulfadli Captures His Second Title In Russian Open

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysian professional badminton player Zulfadli Zulkiffli lifted the champion's trophy at the Russian Open Grand Prix at Vladivostok, Russia on Sunday. The win on Sunday is the second Grand Prix title to the name of the 23-year-old champion after he secured the Brazil Open last month. In his latest Grand Prix conquest, the former world youth champion was made to work hard for more than one hour before he could subdue Siril Verma of India. Zulfadli who lost 16-21 in the first set, bounced back to take the second set 21-19 before he prevailed 21-10 in the rubber set.
