Syria wins silver medal at the 2023 Thailand Swimming Championship

Bangkok, SANA – Syrian swimmer Omar Abbas won silver medal on Monday for the 200 m freestyle race at Thailand Swimming Championship for the year 2023.

Abbas broke the Syrian number at 1.51.36, as well as he broke the previous record at 1.51.82.
Abbas attained the silver medal for the 100 m freestyle race in 51.69 seconds.

On April, Abbas harvested the silver medal at the Malaysian International Open Championship and broke new Syrian records in all the races that he participated in them.
